The Bath House
Welcome to The 'Bath House' - Ormskirk, Lancashire.
Thanks to the Romans and Egyptians, bath houses have been around since the early 1200's, however you no longer need to occupy a roman manor house to experience the luxury of private bathing.
Gone are the days of the chamber pot and outhouse and very rarely will you see a pitcher and bowl in which to wash or the tin or copper tubs that became more widespread for the once a week ritual.
All such items were rarely found and used in the one room together before indoor plumbing became available. Thankfully, times have changed and so much for the better.
